I originally bought this footswitch for the Super Champ X2, but I didn't like that amp and I returned it for a Princeton Reverb. Can I use this footswitch or do I need to buy the other one. Thanks Will
I think the tremolo side / right side will but not sure on the reverb / left side as that is a channel switch and not on/off
If you bought the Princeton Reverb new, it should come with the 2 button footswitch.(P/N 0037211000) I think that's the one that comes with most Fender Reverbs.
I bought a used one, but I just don't want something to turn off and not be able to turn on. I read somewhere that someone used a different pedal and turned off the reverb but it wouldnt turn on
2 button- channel select, and effects on/ off. When you look up the part number- upper right in your photo and google it, the sweetwater site sez it’s for the XD amp. So, it’s not for certain.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but... if the switch could turn the verb off, wouldn’t it be able to turn it back on? A Princeton isn’t a digital device, so how could it get “stuck?”
The a vintage PR uses a foot switch that plugs into the amp with RCA type connectors and I bet that foot switch in your picture has a 1/4" guitar like plug at its end. I do not have a crystal ball, so is your PR a vintage one, or a Ri ?
