The first help for GAS is admitting you have a problem....
What a sad truth. Lol.
Buy it now! Buy it while you can!
Play what you got. Watch this at least through the first 3.5mins to see the secret.
Gretsch guitars hold their value a ton on the used market , also new are rarely on sale. Many are priced higher than same models new. Best of luck, hope you get one soon.this one is a 5622T and stays in tune wonderfully.
When I go into guitar stores I always see them hanging looking good there but when I walk up to them and look closer they just look clunky and awkward like they would be hard and uncomfortable to play. The pickups and strings are sticking a mile off the guitar body...oh and does any one even make aftermarket pickups for them. If that doesn't help then theres the fact that they sound great they look pretty retro-cool and if you got one in blue you would be surrounded by hot chics everytime you played. If go get it right now your gas will disappear. Hope this helps you decide.
As long as it’s not a Gibson go for it.
