It is but watches do exist lol

The problem is that at the singularity the spacetime curvature becomes infinite and there is no way to calculate your path in spacetime past this point. This is known as geodesic incompleteness ,
It's because there is no way to calculate your trajectory past the singularity that it is said (but not by me) that spacetime stops there. Stephen Hawkins fault not mine

Perhaps we should have a few sips of what @thomquietwolf is having first -- the answers will come easier then, or at least will be easier to believe! :)

My point was more that what time does and what the watch does are different things. A watch is a mechanical device while time is something else, something inevitable, a progression, maybe even a dimension? The question would have been equally valid if you used something else, like at which point does time stop ticking if you follow an outboard engine...

True I used a watch because it related to time , and yes definitely a dimension or dimensions , a bit heavy to go into here perhaps though as if there were two time dimensions it brings up the whole grandfather paradox , where if you were able to go back and accidently kill your paternal grandfather you wouldn't exist.
Two-dimensions of time would make time travel possible. Instead of being linear, at some point time loops back on itself. In this way, you could travel back or forward in time.

Or go back in time to hook up with your grandmother to become your own grandfather, something that leads to a genetic defect which makes you immune to alien mind control so you can eventually save the world.

    Futurama ?

If you like this kind of thing Dr Itzhak Bars of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles papers and theories on two time physics are fascinating and if proved could bring together all the theories of the universe into one neat mathematical equation by explaining the relation of time over gravity and other forces a unified theory of physics.

Interesting John Locke or Aristotle s work ?

    A little philosophy joke

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson are on a camping trip.

In the middle of the night, Holmes nudges Watson awake, and says, "Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see."

"I see millions of stars, my dear Holmes."

"And what do you infer from these stars?"

"Well, a number of things," he says, lighting his pipe:

Astronomically, I observe that there are millions of galaxies and billions of stars and planets.

Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo.

Horologic ally, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three.

Meteorologically, I expect that the weather will be fine and clear.

Theologically, I see that God is all-powerful, and man, his creation, small and insignificant.

    What about you, Holmes?"

"Watson, you fool. Someone has stolen our tent!"

    LOL!

Neither Locke or Aristotle. I've been going through some Jack Kerouac so it's not classical philosophy. Perhaps philosophy isn't the right word for it... Moddrn applied phillosophy? Now I'm reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, hence the the thoughts pn what quality is.

Before that I was book surfing, jumpingvbetween books that were somehow connected to each other.
