Still can't find my way home. But while I'm searching, here are three versions from other people who are also looking:

    - Early 1969 Blind Faith live version. Winwood still a teenager and he-who-shall-not-be-named on a Tele.

    - Bonnie Raitt in 1972 with Lowell George sitting in. Bootleg live informal session that's awesome.

    - Joe Cocker, 1996. What more needs to be said other than "Joe Cocker"?

I'm loving the term, "He who shall not be named." That reminds me of a wonderful musician who in select company called his wife, "She who must be obeyed."

D’oh! Lol, the old jinx deal, we used to punch someone in the arm and say “you owe me a beer!” if we said the same thing at the same time. Then we’d follow that up with great minds think alike ;)

Beautiful song anyway it's sung or strummed! Winwood did an acoustic solo in a place (barn with white walls) with a fire... It was cracking away in the background.
A great song is great anyway it's done!
    Thanks for reminding me!
