I thought this was going to turn into a "Sylvia's Mother" / Dr. Hook or "Operator" / Jim Croce kind of call.

Must have been projecting. Or remembering. Somewhere in there. Sounds like it was at least a bit better for a while for you.

I can barely string enough words together to make a sentence, if it makes sense it's a good day.
I don't know if it's from harsh experiences, bad relationships or empathy, she sees a lot of hurt in life.

Wow. That guy is posting offensive crap in multiple threads. To the cornfield he goes and good riddance.

Carly Simon is extremely talented and put out some awesome music. Why is anyone considering her by her appearance? She's a musician. And a damn fine one. The fact that she hasn't found a magical way to stay in her 20's to appeal to some overgrown 14-year old boys is not her problem.
