It wasnt "pretty", it was really pretty playing, I Like it!
You have all the liberties you need I was afraid that there will be only syrupy versions only, which isnt a bad thing. Your more raw second take weighted out dreamy backing and created opposite mood, good!
Hey I represent that remark..
The best comment of the month ,good one Alan.
Thanks Raimonds and Alan for your comments , both your tracks were very nice!
Nice track @Raimonds It has a different taste once you add notes over it. Well done
This is my first try. I just recorded a straight mandolin track over the challenge. Hope it works.
@Chipper, I love the mando on this! Nice apple wine btw.
[EDIT] - for those who don't know, Chip and I live in the same town and I was over at his house enjoying his homemade apple wine and recording my slide take behind his Mando Thursday night.
Works really well .Nice mando playing!
This is a beautiful track thanks Raimonds!
Also thanks for posting this montemerrick ...
Since it's Thursday night at @Chipper's house, let's add a little color behind the mando.
I am singularly impressed with this track. It has inspired me to start doing these again.
Thank you OP.
A Linux user ???.
Thank you so much @montemerrick for posting and @Raimonds for actually creating this great track. From a technical perspective, what I've come up with is a heap of dung, but I felt inspired to go out on a total limb. The vocal comes from a mic that was never designed for this, so it pops bit:
Holy David Bowie Batman!
simoncroft Haha ,love it!
Unless I am gaming, yeah.
@roger@pennyflic - Very pretty Roger. Like the harmonizing acoustics and the melody works nicely. Nice one!
@heltershelton - Nice interpration of and power riffin' to Raimonds delicate backer. Kelly kool!
@Omar - I thought this was very good Omar. Raimonds' backer brings out the passion in guitarist, as with your track.
@Chipper - Welcome Chip from a new guy as well. The mandolin sounds great and is a nice approach to this track!
@duzie - Nice tone and phrasing Duzie. Some nice runs in there.
@knh555 - How cool is it you are riffin' with Chip on this track Kevin. Nice laid back slide work accompaning the mandolin. Cool!
@simoncroft - Hardly a "heap of dung" Simon but reading that made me chuckle. "Ground Control to Major Tom" vibe on your cool vocals. Inventive and very cool! Dig that outro.
