Challenge 298

This was very quick and dirty, I hit record and played. If I find the time during the holidays I'd like to give it another go. This beautiful backing track really deserves better than this.

Mjark, Nice track, well balanced and the mix pops.

A six minute solo! Phew, that's a workout. I strived to keep it true and have it stay fresh for the whole 6 minutes. The first couple of minutes are a little low-key as I needed to give myself some room to grow as the track goes on. Around 2:20 I figured I could hang on to the end so that's when it picks up. I'm pleased with it. Thanks for the track.

Updated: better mix, original needed some tweaking.

Thanks, I will as soon as I have access to a guitar again. I just checked my Soundcloud and the track I posted had 308 plays, I'm embarrassed. In hindsight, naming it Little Broken Wing was not a good idea.

 

I'd need to lock myself in a room with a guitar for at least a month to to do justice to this tune, but...this is what I got for a sunday night

 

Unfortunately at this time and age it won't be possible. But still necessary..

Roger, thanks, I rather enjoyed that. I liked the homage to the original(s) and then you let Roger out of the box at the end. Nice!

Finally got around to doing the Little Wing track. Working on the video editing now. I really like this one so far.
