Browsing around GC I noticed the C20 is up to $130. Is there a high demand for these?
Fender's business model these days is to regularly increase prices on every product they make , or replace with a higher priced product.
Yeah. Look at the MIM strats and I think I saw the GT40 amp for 299?
Wow. I checked a few sites and all $130. I have one that I got at the usual $99 and it is a really nice little amp. Still worth it at $130 IMO
I didn't care for it in it's current housing/speaker. I transplanted one into a bigger tweed cabinet with a 12" speaker and it really woke up the amp.
I'm sure that made a difference. PICS? Once you break in the 8" it's not too shabby.
Yep, and thats true for almost any amp Lonn
Maybe the CEO
Is a horse trader...
That's an old horse trading gig..
If it doesn't sell...
Raise the price...
No pics but here's a video.
I think the Fender Frontman 25R was a better amp than the Fender Champion 20 (which seems to be the replacement for the Frontman 25R).
100% agree. If you can find one of the older Champion 30s even better.
Dang, it did leap up in price. Sweetwater is showing $130. I got mine a year and a half ago for $85 after a 15% discount the local store was running. Guess I got a pretty nice deal.
The amp is made in China, which makes me wonder if all the tariff stuff is partly responsible.
Well, well, I'm glad I got mine for $59 in the GC used section. I was less than a year old and in like new condition.
