I was under the impression that democracy was about the people telling the people who represent them - what they wanted to do...
I hear ya'. Last Sat. night/Sun. morning we temps of -9 below. Today we had a high of 60. So nearly a 70 degree swing in 6 days and believe it or not this is not that unusual for Colorado.
It is but it only works when the bastiches will actually do what the majority of those they represent ask them to do instead of doing what a very wealthy minority order them to do.
On another slant I'm curious to know just how many citizens have been faced with or will be faced with stupefying utility bills? I'm reading about older folks having to drain their savings accounts to pay bills as high as $16,000 plus. What's the word on that?
Last decade or so it's more the norm here as well. It makes for milder winters when you get a few days of summer every couple weeks.
Yeah..I saw that. Another good reason to never let anyone make automatic withdrawals from your bank account. Some people had their drained without even the opportunity to put the bills on their credit cards to buy time to manage the situation.
