I made a video for various reasons. A strange mix of stock footage and original content. I'll be adding a guitar track later. I threw in a techno track I mixed a while back for now:

@circles... If I had seen this work of yours back in the 70s and 80s, I think I would have gotten stuck there. This joint is a trippin' place.
Thank you very much.
That's a low rez version, upload times are huge for these files, for stuff like this that's fine. For contrast here's a video I did with an ambient artist, Basida. It's totally abstract, but higher resolution, on Vimeo.
I'd been inspired as a kid as to how kaleidoscopes worked (bigger on the inside, like a Tardis), and the infinite, unrepeatable patterns it created, and AffterEffects is great at expanding on that idea.
did you do the video?
did you ever dive into fractal generating software?
Yes. My source material was stock footage. I manipulated it and edited it in AfterEffects.
Briefly before the turn of the century, but recently downloaded Mandlebulb. Just got it running, have not studied it yet.
It is the coolest thing ever. I had to uninstall it . Between the 2-D one I was using (Jalada) and M-bulb, I got
thousands of images. Hung out on a Facebook group for it, saw a lot of prefeshiunal quality work. Fffffing amazing 3-D animated work. But you knew that... I drew the line at not getting sucked into animating them. Endless worlds
The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street.
So for Bill and Ted's next adventure they are going trendy?
Reminds me of the graphics from back when.
Aliens communicate in fractals.
yeah, I'm about 20 years behind the technology curve
Oh god that was so bad.
Maybe fractals are aliens!
Jammed with some folks in the Safe Room. It's called that because it's a huge safe!
After that Tim and I transferred up to room 1, and worked on some tunes. Tim plays bass and drums and can sing. I support either way, but I think we can find a bass player faster than another drummer. And so it goes.
I'll eventually post anything not embarrassing after I get done processing all this.
Maybe a lot of stuff
Love his books. Unbearably creative.

Progress is frustratingly slow when you meet once a week.
We're using Bootstrap. Below is a look inside The Safe, nice size jam space unburdened by any cool air whatsoever. This is a 360 test, click/drag to look around. It is a very short test shot.
