I have about a half those of those in various sizes. Emergency use only.
I roasted some Ethiopian beans yesterday...
They are just about ready...!
Beans are ready...40oz of home roasted Grade 1 Yirgacheffe. All set for another few weeks...
Yirgacheffe is good coffee. We enjoy that and Starbucks’ single-origin Sumatran.
Morning Vanilla Latte. Ahhh
Every now and then I give tea a try, but it does not grab me. Maybe not prepared right.

We call that Green Tea
My hunt for a good Sumatran green bean continues. For us it’s Sumatran, Yirg, and they honeyed Central American stuff (harder to find these days). Roasting yourself sure saves a lot of money...
I do understand that green beans have a longer shelf life.
Good morning from Australia!
I roast mine too. Can't get any fresher than that. Luckily I can buy mine locally from a Bongo Java warehouse.
Do you guys have special roasters, or can it be done in a home oven?
Ovens are for baking. You kind of need a rotating drum roaster for coffee roasting. Lottsa options out there for home roasters these days. I’m sure these guys will have options for you.
But if you want to have a crack, (pun intended) without spending hundreds of dollars, a $20 popcorn roasting machine can get you started, but be warned! It’s (literally) addictive.
Just cruise the internet for green beans?
Been traveling, and craving coffee my way- tomorrow morning at home- it will be served!
