They are programmed, I would play them myself but I can't access my kit ATM, I can leave them on for now and replace them before mixing, thanks for the offer though.:thumb:

Very nice takes! In case anyone else fancies vocal duties, I'll post the original melody and harmony parts nice and loud in the mix as a sing-along. Personally, I'm no John Lennon, but I can manage a George Harrison on a good day, so I'll give it a whirl. :D

Now, I've been asked a serious question: What exactly are we asking people to send us? Presumably, not 4:40 min of guitar solo. I'm only tech support on this, so I'll go with whatever @Mansonienne, @dogletnoir and @Nick Evans think the answer is.

If anyone prefers, just record one verse rather than the whole song , I will sort it out in post production.
(What ever floats your boat.) Depending on how many apply. I would be grateful if you can record at least up to 12 bars.
    Thank you

That's funny, I just worked up this song as a demo for the band. Basic drums, I did the rest myself.

I've just put your takes together with the backing, added a tiny bit of room and Abbey Road plate and... Boom! That is the business, right there. Really tight and on-point. :D @Nick Evans, would you like me to post what I'm hearing, so everyone gets a taste of how good this already is?

That is a super-nice take too. You are obviously a man of many talents! Hope you'll join in our jamboree. :thumb::thumb::thumb:

Hah! nice! glad u liked it. When i mixed it here I panned each track +-10% for a bit more space, and used a stereo slap delay (50ms/70ms) and it was decent too.

Nice vibe in @ripgtr version too!!! love the saturation in the vocals.

I must be weird. I went for +/- 11% . :D A touch of the 'Lennon slapback' sets it off nicely too. :)

For those of you interested in the backing vox, here's a very loud rendition!

Now, we have a vocal harmony part, which I'm sure will be included in the next mix, but it would be great to have some more vocal harmonies, lead guitar parts, or whatever people want to chip in with. It ain't finished 'til you're in it! :D
