No it’s gone... I sold it local. No problem.

I couldn't find that case on the Crossrock site. The only similar ones I found were for basses.

I wouldn't think so. I only glanced at it when it was up on here and when I went back you'd pulled it... Didn't even have time to GAS over it....

Yes I have a set of hand wound Fat 50’s that Fender did 300 sets a few years ago. My buddy set me a set free. I put them in my prize ol’ girl 68’ Goldie. I give my
Old buddy a new heart. The most expensive if not best Fender had to offer. $500 bucks and I got them free!!!!

When I was ordering the guitar that I call Betty I told them I wanted Josefina to make the pickups.... no problem at an extra $150 per pick up. I found a demo of some guy playing a new 62’ Relic that sounded amazing... I sent that video to the CS guy. I told him if my guitar didn’t sound as good or better then that I would send it back and let my buddy (his boss) know... my Betty sounds exquisite. She is some misbegotten love child of SRV’s #1 and Axis Bold As Love.... When I get my chops together I’ll record something.... get that MacBook up and running..

    It didn’t get
Much interest on the forum. And somebody kept asking questions about the reissue COA... I got tired answering the same question over and over again by the same guy... some people that don’t know me made comments that they wouldn’t buy it because of the reissue COA. I don’t need nobodies headache. I put the word out local and a few weeks later it was gone.... $1800. Guy loves it. The guy has seen me in clubs since the 80’s .... I’m a local legend.... he was ecstatic to own one of my guitars...

Judging by the state of your Strat it’s a bit late for a decent case!

    Hey @Wrighty bite me! :)

    @Stonetone
Most of them get names unless they become tools... some guitars are guitars and some guitars just get the job done.

My ‘best’ two, an AmSeries Strat and AmPro Tele tend to get the definitive article, ‘my Strat, my Tele’. The other Fenders and Squires by colour, ‘red Strat, blue Tele’ or whatever. My homemade Gibocaster is referred to as ‘The Door’, because that is what it was made from. Other than that it’s just descriptive, ‘twelve string, Yamaha acoustic’ etc.

Never felt the need to call a guitar Fred, Gertrude or any other name.

The new Betty is looking sweet... gotta send me some sound samples now so i can hear her sing, Mr. Hammer!
That case is awesome, and the pink/red colour combo really pops!
    Congrats!

Oh my! Hey @dogletnoir !!!!! Thanks for gracing the thread with your presence!!! Owee! Bbbrigetttt is a real looker! Yes I got this MacBook and Scarlet contraption over here... I need to do something with it I guess. Oh and the Cher Tee Petit Boogie amp... and a new SG that may become Frank the SG. Between Marino and Zappa the SG is a Frank.....

    Thanks for the kind words!
Frank is looking good. That's the right SG imo, the model with the Maestro tailpiece and the trapezoid markers...
i'm guessing that those 'buckers are a bunch of sweetness and rasp all wrapped up in one bundle, too.

Ms. B is probably the strat i play the most at the moment... i've really got to force myself not to play the .strandberg* guitars nowadays, though!
And, yeah, you'd better get to work with the Scarlett/macbook thing now. Before you know it, you'll be looking at modelers if you're not careful, though.
Even with a nice amp collection like you have, it's nice to be able to track outrageous guitar and bass tones at 2 AM without disturbing anyone else in the house!

Recorded with an HX Stomp into Scarlett 2i2/macbook pro running Logic Pro X.

Good point Ed . In the late '70s and through the '80s I was in a gigging band , my two main guitars were a '62 Strat and a '63 Strat . I carried them in this beat up case I got with a newer Strat I bought in 1978 ( a '76 ) . The tolex on the top was torn off and the previous owner spray painted some green paint on it . It looked like s**t but it was , and still is a very solid case . My bandmates ridiculed me about it but I figured a thief would grab another case rather than mine . Ya never know who's lurking in the shadows !!! I believe in not making it too obvious !

That is a beautiful case. Too nice for me, I beat things up quickly, so I'd need a case for the case.
