Custom leather handle for Mesa Express

Can anyone recommend a place to get a nice heavy duty leather strap for my Mesa Express, non plus.

I got one for my '59 Twin. Bob dies beautiful work. He's a good player and singer too! (He came to a few of the jams I hosted back in Virginia). But, best of all, he's a heck of a nice guy!

I wasn't even looking to replace the handle on my Champ but, their blackface style leather handle looks awesome... Payday is next week, hmmm.

Those look the part but, don't hold up... Mesa makes/uses a much better built product.

Thinking about this a little, Mesa amps are typically very heavy... I personally would not use a leather strap, for strength reasons.

I'll say, I've had a Brookwood leather handle on my 1958 Twin for a number of years. It still works and has held up well. Granted, my Twin is only in the mid 40 lbs range (I use neo speakers).

My old Mk IV was 85 lbs.... for a freaking 1x12! LOL. I used the casters, or the two armed hug a Hell of a lot more than that awful, cutting circulation off, plastic handle.
