Sure he can play drums better than me, but he can also dance better.

    When I was a kid
My mother sent me to Arthur Murray Dance lessons
    Don't know why
    I had 11 siblings..
    But
    Just me....
Sometimes they'd play Fred N Ginger clips...
    He was quite nifty...

Great video and not terribly surprising. Both dancing and drumming are about rhythm, timing and execution. Mr. Astaire was obviously abundant in all of them.

Cool clip - that made me smile!

Also, it made me think of why Neil Peart decided to take lessons from Freddie Gruber -- to learn how to "dance on the drums".

Watching Fred Astaire play drums with such fluidity and ease like that makes sense when you think about, but I've never seen him play (or knew he played).

    Thanks for posting that Fezz!

I watched with a smile... and didn't even realize I was smiling until the end. Clearly I enjoyed the clip.

    My generation had "no clue".
This next generation has no clue, and no manners.
