A local guy that I have bought a few guitars from asked me if I saw the beat up blue strat in a pawnshop on the south side of Indy for $330. I said no. I found myself at the pawn shop this morning after installing a new toilet in my oldest daughters bathroom. The Strat was now $290 and is a little on the worn and dirty side but will clean up nicely. They also had a very nice Epi LP Custom, also $290. In today's market those are both good prices but I gotta be me. I offer $500 for both out the door and the guy counters with $524. Deal! I figure I can get $400-450 for the Epi leaving me a very cheap Mexican Strat. My wife is out of town yet again so my Saturday evening will consist of pizza and guitar cleaning.

Wow! If that's a Korean built Les Paul Custom, you can get well over $500 for it.......worth more than the recent Chinese ones.....

The strat has been neglected but that’s getting rectified tonight.

Midnight Blue 98. Plenty of bumps and bruises and scrapes but it looks good from 5 feet away. I love the pickups from these old 90s MIM Strats as well.

    Nice score.

I'd be mighty tempted to flip the Strat for $350, and keep the LP.

Nice guitars. I bought a pair of Fender MIM basses in that same color I believe - Midnight Blue, but it looks more purple than blue to me.

1998 MIM Jazz Bass and 2010 MIM Precision bass. Bought them around 2011 in local pawn shops for $140 and $160 respectively.

Yes it’s far more purple than blue.
