Limey's what? Is it grocer's apostrophe season again?
what I think is amusing is when I meet someone taller than me and have to look up. Really odd.
And no height challenged issues with anyone. Balsa chopsticks on the other hand.....
Let me guess, the stool is made of bamboo?!?
Sorry, I didn't mean to be short with you... oops, maybe that was a bad choice of words.
Where does balsa wood come from? Nobody ever says, I’m gonna take a trip to the balsa wood forest.
Touch. That’s French for touché.
I always thought it was from the model airplane factory
Life long CTS user here. I recently started buying Alphas and Bourns for panel mounting and discovered that current production is superior to CTS in every way I measure (torque, taper and general tactile quality). Alphas win by a hair. The pot condoms are pretty good.
I wonder how many people will get it?
It was supposed to say “lovely” but evidently that type of language isn’t appreciated around here.
I use Pao Ferro chopsticks that I buy by the hundred at the dollar store. They end up there because of, well... online forums, you know.
+1. There is some ‘overthinking it’ in this thread.
Just to add.....
My Bourns push/pull pots have arrived today and the difference between these and the last ones I bought (Alpha) is huge !
They feel 3 times the weight, the resistance (feel) of the pot turn is perfect and the switches are even better with a definitive pull and push action that feels so positive and precise.
I'll need to go back to soldering skool if I mess these up!!
Tall people are the first to get rained upon.
No conceit in your family...you got it all!
Under it, shirley?
Case in point.
All I know about CTS pots are they are of high quality, but the little plastic tab that holds the solder lugs on breaks way too easily. You COULD put a CTS or other brand pull pot on it to activate the neck pickup, so you can use all 3 pups. Tons of things you can do with pull pots. Out of Phase, Series/Parallel, Coil Taps, Kill Switch, etc. Have fun.
