    Saw Michael Franti and friends last night at the Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley CA...a wonderful benefit and a very special guest Bob Weir sat in and made it yet another a show of a lifetime...when Michael spoke about his ailing son there was not a dry eye in the house... to pardon a cliche the show was nothing less than amazing

    P.S. Please say a prayer for my sister Peggy...Sorry for highjacking my own thread to give my sis a nod for the heavens...she is in Hospice Care as we speak...life is truly too short...but never stop playing and hoping and learning and loving

    Tommytele, Stark, and other SF folks, do you guys ever see The Waybacks over there? I know they're from the Bay area, I see them every year in NC at Merlefest. They're a great band, the lead guitar/mandolin guy is James Nash, he's a real talent.
