Do you name your guitar(s)? What is it’s name ?
No, have never named any
I only have one guitar that I refer to by name....Brian
that is the real Brian. I had a BMG Red Special, and a Burns....I called those Fake Brians. I had to get rid of them because there just wasn’t any comparing them to the real deal.
Nope... Not yet.
I've never had so many guitars that Strat, Flying V or Les Paul wouldn't cover it.
I think when you name it you’re done , right ? You can’t sale it no more , it becomes part of the family
They don’t have names, but I call these “The Twins” one with nines, the other with 10’s and a d tuna
Hold up... Maybe I do.
Black Strat, Eric Johnson Strat, Telecaster, Sunburst Strat, Semi Hollowbody, Ibanez, Jazz Bass, Mike’s Ibanez, The acoustic.
No, I don‘t. Mostly cause I think it is tacky and contrived. The model all ready has a name. I don‘t mean to come off as overly negative, just my opinion
Nope, other than to say.....the red one, or the black one or the brown one when talking to the wife.
Absolutely no names.
Geddes. It got the name about 1983 and it's stuck ever since.
My MIM Lone Star is known as 'The Strat', despite the fact that I have 5 Strats, if that counts. The others are just known by the brand and/or colour (the Legend, the red Squier etc); or the style, if I only have one (the acoustic, the Tele).
I would name one if there was story attached to it.
Some. But only the ones that REALLY earn it.
Name ..... Guitar
Yes, all my gigging guitars have names. I look at the guitar and see what pops up, sometimes a guy's name and sometimes a girl's name.
My car is called Henry, I look after him and he looks after me.
my possessions are just possessions for the time being they are still mine.
Do you name your wife?
All my guitars get called names on a regular basis.
@Mansonienne tells me that none are repeatable in polite company.
She who must be obeyed already had a name.
