Ive been doing competitive arm wrestling for years now, it's actually quite risky. It's so much more than meets the eyes

i was 115kg before getting into this, it gave me the motivation to go back to 90kg to compete in a weight class.

Not if you're playing. Watching is a good opportunity for an afternoon nap.

There are a few here that can attest to the fact that the location of my office (13th and Prospect Ave. KCMO) and my employer is a dangerous enough combination. I probably should give up the adrenaline rushes but they are just too much fun.

These days I get an adrenaline rush from just getting up off the couch too fast.

My right elbow and knees are pretty trashed, but most of it was pretty fun.

I used to play 3-4 nights a week, 3 were leagues. I need to start doing stuff like that again even in my ripe old age

I skied. Since I was 7. Raced in high school. Broke a leg twice, ligament damage more times than I care to remember.

Now I walk with a cane...

Because I was also a runner; sprinter in HS, distance thereafter. Ran on asphalt and concrete. The real damage, aside from a hack surgeon, came from running down hills as hard as I ran up them.

    45-60mph down a snow covered hill on a couple of sticks...nothing to it. 8 minutes/mile for 40-50 miles a week on 3 inch thick asphalt...absolutely fu*king devastating.
