unicornish isnt that hard of a language to learn, it's mostly the stigma you have to get over to try.
I don’t watch TV or spend time on Twitter/Facebook etc... Strat-Talk is my link to the world around me
I have a guitar in the living room, spare room/office and bedroom. Sometimes walk around with one! so yes, I play while being online.
at home, i usually have a guitar or cat (the battles between the two are epic...) in my lap regardless of what my eyes are doing.
The world demands a video. I've heard that cat videos are a thing on the internet. It follows logically that guitar+cat videos are urgently required here.
Joking apart, I'd caution against 'practising' when you are not concentrating on what you are playing – for instance, when you're also watching TV, looking at texts, or otherwise distracted. I got into a habit of playing during ad breaks on TV about 30 years ago. One day, when I was actually listening to what I was playing, I realised that some of my finger-picking patterns and become really irregular. Worse still, I couldn't seem to get those patterns back to regular rhythms! A friend of mine, who was one grade off becoming a qualified guitar teacher, suggested exercises to correct my bad habits. Believe me, I had to put in a lot of work, typically using a different finger for the first note of the bar to stop me falling back into bad habits. It was a hard lesson, and one I was grateful to learn.
