I know she has used a lot of Fender guitars, namely the Fender Telecaster and Fender Jazzmaster Electric Guitars. I remember reading somewhere that the song We Got The Beat was composed on a Fender Jazzmaster. But there is something that makes me think she used a Fender Stratocaster. I posted about Jane Wiedlin Of The Go-Gos playing a gold Fender Stratocaster in the video for Blue KISS. And Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles playing a Fender Stratocaster. She also played a Roland Polyphonic Guitar Synthesizer. I believe that Andy Summers Of The Police gave her that guitar when The Go-Gos toured with the Police In 1981. But if anybody has any clips or pictures of Charlotte Caffey playing a Fender Stratocaster, I would like to see them. She has also played a Fender Precision Bass and a Rickenbacker 4001 bass. If I remember correctly, played through a few Marshall amps and Fender Bassman Amps. She also was the keyboardist for the Go-Gos as well, which must have been incredibly difficult. There are some clips of her playing a Yamaha CP80 Electric grand piano and a Yamaha motif keyboard. She kind of looks like Nancy Wilson Of Heart. Among other things, Charlotte Caffey also played keyboards on the song Foolish Games by Jewel, and has worked with Hole, Belinda Carlisle, Andy Summers, Keith Urban, Elton John and Susanna Hoffs. Wrote a few songs for the Bangles. And she also worked with Jane Wiedlin and Susanna Hoffs on the soundtrack of the movie Now and Then. I used to actually have that movie on VHS but had no clue that was her. Oddly enough, when Charlotte Caffey became pregnant with her daughter Astrid McDonald In 1995, Bangles guitarist Vicki Peterson filled in for her. But in my opinion, The Bangles were way better than the Go-Gos. She had carpal tunnel syndrome for many years and kind of retired due to it. Do you think Charlotte Caffey is the type of guitarist who would play a Fender Stratocaster? Please let me know.
