Hopefully that does the trick. My wife and I both WFH and our boy is totally used to that so when we would leave him alone for more than a few hours he would get very destructive. Thankfully that has subsided a bit as he gets a bit older but ya, having a pet that has anxiety is no fun.View attachment 649024
We had a bit of hard time lately with my youngest one (Sky)...
To make a long story short, she came to me on a Saturday morning after her meal with severe anxiety. She truly was unmanageable (consolable)... Come to Monday, it wasn't improving so we feared internal pain of some sort and paid a visit to our vet.
She checked out OK, but severe anxiety was the diagnostic and our Vet gave us a regiment of pills to bring her back to a manageable level. So we followed instructions, and started re-enforcing good behavior (relax mode)..
We went through the bottle of pills but 2 (About 2 weeks), they are not addictive so we could just stop. Since, she's been OK, we still work on separation anxiety (My wife and I work from home)... but she's still young (turned 1 yo last mid-may)...
In 2 weeks, we'll get her sterilize, which from experience, always calm them down a bit more...

We just felt hopeless.... I could go out and play with her for an hour and she'd be fine, but as soon as we would go back in, the crying would start. I worked the full Monday with her head on my laps.Hopefully that does the trick.
