I couldn't believe a mod didn't shut this down from the opening statement. I was appalled to read it and I think many others were as well.
I'm not sure what relevance colour of your skin has to do with this subject at all.
Any organization that recognizes this guy for musical accomplishment is a joke.
Other than the fact that rap isn't music the Grammy's are usually OK to watch.

I stopped watching the Grammys in 1989 after Jethro Tull won for Best Heavy Metal Band.
Switched it on for 5 minutes last night, and they were talking to the Backstreet Boys. Turned the channel. Sorry, guess I'm the grumpy old man the OP wants us not to be.
I don't know why people get upset at the Grammy choices. "Ugh, they always go for this band because of the hot singer while [local indie rock band] goes unnoticed".
