This is another backing track for which I've had an alert set up on Karaoke-version for many years. I was so stoked to see they finally created it that I dropped another song I was working on to start this one. With that, my usual warning that this isn't Plant singing on the track.

Generally I like to record in a single take performance but as I no longer own a tremolo pedal to toggle on/off I had to get a little creative. As such the lead guitar was recorded with a non-tremolo tone. I later when in and overdubbed a tremolo sound. To be cute I recorded 2 takes and panned each hard left/right. That's about the limit of my recording skills. :D

The fills are a rough approximation of the recorded version and the solo was improvised.

Man haven't heard that one in dogs years. Most excellent Ralph. Gotta commend that singer too, he really has the right voice for it.

    100% enjoyable.

Yes, being a rabid, unapologetic Zep fan, that one did kind of jump out of left field for me too. Great job, thanks for posting!:D:D

Thanks my friend. I actually think I missed an opportunity as I think your voice would have worked really well on this.

Thanks! I try to keep it varied and go deep. I love the big radio hits but there's a lot of gold in the album only stuff.

Thanks man. As a kid I wasn't quite sure what to make of this song but over time it became a favorite.

    Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!

Thanks! I should have been on the seaside myself. I planned on hopping a fishing boat out of the Highlands and was all ready to go when I realized I had to take my dogs to the groomer. Spent the day doing yardwork and this song. Lemonade from lemons I guess.

I will take the compliment, thank you. But honestly there is no way I could have done it as well as the guy on the track. At least not in my head. :)

You've been playing your damn guitar again while the rest of us are bickering on sidewinders.
What do you think this is, a guitar forum?!?
Beautiful flowing leads and a solid rhythm base, you sure know how to cover all ends my friend. That looks like it was a lot of fun to do... you were not kidding when saying you came out of your hiatus swinging.
