I think I've posted my Rusty Anderson 335 more than enough times, but here goes... For the avoidance of doubt, it is a seriously great guitar! One of the big attractions for me was the 58 profile neck, which really suits me. But it also has more 'chime' than you tend to get with a Les Paul.

This was my mom's rug, bought in Germany in the early '60's.

and to continue to pull the rug out from under this thread...

The red rug we bought with the house. It's cheap but serves the purpose. The blue rug was one we bought when we lived on the boat after retiring.

    and lastly

the "Indian" pattern rug I bought to fill that space. I don't know where the rug in the foreground came from, but it serves the greater good now.

If I had to have just one guitar, it would be a 335. I have an Epi-335 that gets played more than any other my instrument in my collection. More than my American made Strats and more than my Gibson Les Paul. It just sounds awesome with Gibson classic 57 pick ups. I know that one of these days I’m gonna have to have a Gibson 335.

This is my chance to bug the heck out of you by asking a ton of questions... about the rugs, and not the guitar. :sneaky:

Joking apart, I tried a Heritage a few years ago and liked it a lot, but I wasn't quite ready to buy at the time. When I was lucky enough to land the cash, my 335 happened to be up for sale, and fitted the bill so well I went for it. Otherwise, a Heritage H-535 would have been a contender. I also thought about Collings but Heritage seems to offer a lot more bang for the buck, and the quality is certainly there. Yours looks really nice.

I am hooked on 335 style guitars ever since I picked up my Epi Dot. Then an Epi ES 339, then a Gibson ES-335 studio, and the Heritage late last year. I started looking at Heritage guitars about seven-ish years ago while on the boat in the West Palm Beach area. I wan't really looking for another guitar when I friend sent me the link to my Heritage, and it showed up. I sold the Dot to show some semblance of responsibility to the missus. I play either the H-335 or the ES-335 studio. But the Heritage seems to be the guitar I pick up. I use the Epi ES-339 for slide in open tuning.

I mostly use my Tweed Deluxe 5E3 rescue. @fezz parka gave me some pointers on the setup. All this made the voices in my head content.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it,
