Anyone have a recommendations for easy way to make some drum tracks?

I have session drummer with my daw. The “proper” way to use the program is a bit much for me, and time consuming. I have discovered that I can just drag the premade rhythms onto a track, but the premade ones don’t have coresponding fills or changes so I would be stuck with the same rhythm throughout the song.

I have a beat buddy, but it’s limited and sounds like crap when used for recording .

Are there any plug ins that are easy and are more designed for the drag and drop method with fills and changes for the same song?

I know it’s kind of a forest Whittaker eye type question but I have limited time to play etc and want to be able to lay down what I enjoy- guitar bass and keys.

Garage Band is probably your best bet, but it's certainly not going to be perfect.

I prefer to use a good MIDI voice set and copy rhythms from a beat book.

I’m gonna have to check that out. I actually have ez drummer , but haven’t used it in like 2 years because I thought it was as difficult as the others .

Ezdrummer 2 and 3 are the ones with this feature. You might have a good upgrade price. As someone said, MT power kit has a similar feature and it's free. I don't think it is as advanced but i would check it out definitely.

Wow. I just spent some time with ex2 with the song creator feature , that’s exactly what I was looking for .

Greetings fellow guitarists and I hope everyone is having a harmonious evening out there.

( This is my first post.... so..yeah.. )

I am definitely going to check out the programs that you guys are recommending for drums & percussion!

My best experience with rhythm via artificial intelligence , so far , has to be LOGIC PRO X and it’s HUMAN DRUMMER algorithms.

You can pick from a wide variety of drummers: they actually have

    “bios” for each one i.e:

“Roger has been playing at all the best jazz clubs in Chicago for 25 years...”
    Etc....

then after you select your “drummer”:
    ______________________________
you can adjust loudness/ softness & simple/ complex on an XY grid.

You can also select the drum kit that
    “he” plays.

You can increase or decrease the probability of your A.I. drummer taking a righteous ‘fill’.

There’s not much you CANT do.

VERY REALISTIC & NUANCED percussion that sounds terrific AND is virtually indistinguishable from a great drummer recorded in an awesome studio by an experienced engineer!
