I'm stumped. Mainly because I want to believe this is a "V" neck on this (because of the "V" contours on the back, but it's a 22 fret USA neck with a Z6 serial number, Spaghetti logo and Strat V Neck models that year have abalone dots among other differences.

The seller states that it's a satin body, which appears to be a solid honey blond color. It's a wood pickguard and the bridge spacing appears to be the wider vintage spacing. The trem cover is MIM isn't it? There's nothing on the neck plate where I thought it might have a 60 anniversary logo or something. The pole pieces aren't staggered but they don't look ceramic.

"I'll take "Strats" for $500, Bob."

I'm not bidding on it, so here's the link, but aside from the trim, is this a MIM vintage body with a USA neck?

Highway ones have been off my radar so I didn't know if they offered that color in '06. Current ones have a different headstock . . .

Just browsed eBay Hwy Ones, look like you're are correct, sir!

    Thx!

Where can I get one of those "tremblo" things? This guy must really know his Strats after 35+ years of guitaring!

Yeah, very few Fenders made after 1971 will ever be real collectors items like people think...

Ya never know. If you would have told me 20 years ago that people would pay over $1500 for a 70's Strat I would have laughed.
    Actually, I still do laugh - ha-ha!

I'm more excited about the $179 semi-hard case! Wow! Is that the bee's knees or what!

Nice Hwy1 with mods... Any collector value (???) went out the window the second he swapped in the wood p/g, as cool as it may be.
