I stand corrected
In 1967, Parkway Records released a 45 rpm single of Minkin singing two versions of the hit song, "Wild Thing". ... On side two, the comedian uses the alias Senator Everett McKinley in his impression of Republican US Senator Everett Dirksen singing the same song
I THINK it was supposed to be Bobby Kennedy singing the "quite rightly" part... those were the days (my friend)
yes, sadly pancake abuse is a real thing.
It's not what it means in this context though. "Tossing off' and "Jerking off" mean the same thing, depending which side of the Atlantic you are.
I did not know this.
This forum, a cultural mecca for higher learning.
Tosser has been my favorite insults for a long time. Some insults are worth moving to the UK just so I can use regularly. Cuz ya gotta have goals.
I've never met Elon, but I've never successfully launched a vehicle into outer space or successfully launched a brand and culture change. True entrepreneurs tend to be eclectic and extreme.
I find it curious if not ironic that so many musicians act like brown wingtip squares over both his innovation and eccentricities. In full disclosure I'll probably buy one of his cars soon. Drive one and you may, too. Unsurpassed ergonomics, performance and technology. And silent. The Lycra wearing bicycling poseurs never hear you coming. Watching 'em pee their spandex spanks is worth the price of the car... just kidding...not about buying one, but you know harassing cyclists... I don't...really...well.........................................
I've heard Elon Musk thinks we're living in a simulation (as in The Matrix):
I am guessing that vid was originally either Dean Martin or Johnny Cash... leaning toward Martin.
EDIT- found the original of Shatner in 1978. Wow!
A ruder form of J**k.
This guy needs a rocket.....man. Not sure where though.
We're living in matrix alright.. and t****** like Musk are a part of it. In his case a bit-part..
Its actually not that an uncommon belief in physics that we are in a simulation or basically all holograms , I dont understand it either fully .
Hologram - an image produced in such a way that under suitable illumination a three-dimensional representation of an object is seen.
Sounds like my ex mother-in-law!!!!!!
Interesting article here about it .
I agree, and I discount nothing, I also don't have the intellect to fully grasp the subject involved.
Re Musk, he runs Tesla cars, and in my opinion the Tesla name associated with the likes of Musky is sacrilege. Tesla was a true genius, and as far as I can make out, discovered the power of tapping the ionosphere to give us free electricity/power over a hundred years ago, yet strangely his discovery seems to have disappeared from view..
I try not to illuminate my mother in law to much its not a pretty site.
