I've been looking around and haven't seen a club for Epiphone users...

SO Post pics of any Epiphone guitars/or even equipment you may own! (please notify if a club has already been made...and if so sorry in advance!)

I currently own a 1978 Epiphone "Scroll Series" SC350 ...Looks like something Prince would whip out and play on stage ..kinda has a wacky SG look. (but then... I didn't really buy it specifically for the looks)

I really wasn't looking at the guitar at the time...I was at a Guitar Center in the vintage section trying out random guitars. I saw her sitting there and saw it was a weird looking "Epiphone" so I was about to pass it up and try something else, but i told myself "what the hell let's give her a go" i plugged it in to a nearby Hiwatt and heard the sweetest BB King tone I've ever heard in person from a guitar! Granted it was an absolutely tasty amp i was plugged in to...but to test it out i also plugged it in to a tweed next to the Hiwatt and the guitar once again SCREAMED! It was the first time I had a guitar that i couldn't leave the store without buying first...(and the cheaper price-tag helped that as well)

    Pics will be up soon!

    Awesome looking guitar Shane!

    I've always wanted a Firebird!
Kinda my way of compromising between a Strat and a Gibson lol ...
even though I know it's a beast of its own!

The setup kinda remind me of the SG Hendrix had in the Stockholm version of red house :D

    How is it treating you?

I've only ever gigged with the Firebird once,
but it's a really great guitar. I would ditch
the gold hardware, though, and swap out
the stock pickups for some Lollars if I had
the budget to do all that.

    Great to hear!
Yeah I've heard a lot of good things about lollars so that should be a big plus to an already great guitar!

Nice collection you got there! Yeah always sad to see one of your guitars go ..especially when it has that magic that no other guitar can exactly replicate for you.:cry:

How's the tone on that Sherry you got there? Looks stunning

Thank you very much....but don't feel too bad for me, I'm definitely a strat guy....I am very blessed to own a few strats!!!!

As for the Sherry, she is a great playing and sounding guitar....and it is completely stock....I mention this as I had another Sheraton and a few Joe Pass guitars and they were all muddy sounding to me....when I heard Blondie, I knew she was going to be with me for a long time. She is a 2003 that I bought in 2005 or 2006.

Agreed! At the end of the day we are all strat people!
Tried to stray away a couple times but nothing compares to how a strat sounds...It's the perfect tone i hear in my head. A strat with a cranked plexi or cranked tweed will always be my fav! :D:D

Good to hear she's treating you well! You've convinced me to try out some hollow-bodies and semi hollows during my next trip to whatever guitar shop i go to!

I have a few Epiphone guitars(no pictures I'm sad to say), Les Paul Plus top, Les Paul Ultra and a G-400 Vintage. All are great guitars and fun to play. ENJOY!!!

It's years since I've seen one of those. Unlike the rest of the Epiphones here, yours was MIA I believe. Has to be worth a few bob these days.

Haha yeah it's an oldie but a goodie...it was made in Japan I believe! During Epiphone's awkward years ( it's from 1978 ) and got it for like $350 so it wasn't really a back breaker money wise haha but it is a great sounding guitar to my ears so that's all that matters to me!
