My brother has tickets for the Tampa show. I wish I did.
Eric, but with scrolling text for the hard of hearing.
In 2017 (?) Keith Urban had a woman doing sign language at his show at Snowmass.
Or the six o'clock news version of I Shot the Sheriff ...
Two years ago he announced he was going to quit touring. He should have stuck with that plan. It’s no coincidence that his tour ends up in Russia.
I have no idea what you're implying here.
In a way, the quitting touring but still touring is typical Eric. I think he’s kinda boring as a person and probably doesn’t know what to do with himself at home. I’ve seen so many interviews where he talks about someone’s music “changing his life” or being his hero, and maybe it’s all true, but it’s repetitive and It loses its punch, same as I’m done touring, oh, by the way, I’m touring- what’s he gonna do- be The Who now and have 40 years of farewell tours?
I've got tix for the May 7th London show
hard to believe it's been 26 years since I've seen him on the From The Cradle tour. I have as much chance of seeing him this tour as I do being elected pope.
Kiss has spent at least half of their careers doing farewell tours lol.
There must be good money in saying goodbye.... over and over again.
Last time I saw him was with Steve Winwood . Stevie was the better of the two at that point .
Stevie was the better of the two at every point!
He's another one I've always wanted to see, but never got the chance. Closest to Cincy would probably be Nashville, about 250 miles. That sucks!
That's excellent. I saw Clapton in the 90s with JLV opening for him. It was the first I'd heard of Jimmie doing his own non-Thunderbirds thing. It was a good night of music from both of them.
I agree. But maybe I'm imagining this, but I thought I read, somewhat recently, that arthritis is making it very difficult to play, and I'm surprised that he's doing this tour, if that was true.
Neuropathy in his hands. I guess playing for any extended period of time is very painful for him.
I'm not going to see him, but if I was I wouldn't read the set list.
That would be kind of a spoiler for me.
I only saw him once, and he sounded great, but the arena sucked.
Sucks that the best of the best are either deceased or nearing the end of the careers. I’m not sure there’s any out there I’d want to go see.
Especially at current prices.
