I’m somewhat joking with you. But I am a Clapton fan, and his latest song is becoming somewhat prophetic.

It will be awhile before the 90's guys die off, anything could happen.

It won’t be that long. The 70’s and 80’s guys are all dying off now.

I understand that it can be difficult to do.
And the truth is, sometimes a$$#oles are talented.
We don't get to choose. It's luck of the draw.

Someone once wrote “All things must pass. All things must pass away”.
The set list is tame. He should include his homage to George Harrison “Love Comes to Everyone”

July 8, 2018 BST at Hyde Park. I was there. It was the last time I saw him play live and I don't think I'm going to see him again. I travelled to Belfast in 2011 for what I thought would be my last Clapton concert. But then this Hyde Park thing came out... I got the tickets (both for the plane and the show) and there we went.
EC is my all time favourite guitar player and I love his music, but I no longer want to go through all the hassle and spend big money on the ever price-increasing tickets (plus travel).

I've been to about 15 Clapton shows, first in 1977/78. Best by far were at Royal Albert Hall from '92 to '95. And tickets for those shows were far cheaper than tickets for this tour... if you can find decent ones.

He's 76, how demanding do you think his night should be?

    @Lonn @Mansonienne and everybody else.

Huge EC fan here, big influence musically and personally since I was 8 years old.

He said something really stupid in a drunken state 46 years ago and he's an anti vaxxer. He hasn't raped, murdered or set fire to an orphanage.

Go ahead, anyone here that has not said something stupid in their life raise your hand.

Having said that, I'm not against freedom of speech or asking anyone to not give their opinion on anything but as the saying goes just because you can doesn't mean you should.

It's always the same few that with intent oh so subtly make their tiresome remarks full well knowing the outcome. Everyone here knows who you are and you are known for just that, we get it, you've made your feelings known x10 so why keep it up? If this is not trolling then I don't know what else is.

EC isn't some deity or sacred God but for ****s sake, no one can even start a thread without the hate storm entering the room like smoke coming under the door to your home.

Sad that this sort of thing this forum is evolving into, so much hate and lack of simple manners. No wonder long term members are posting less and less.

Time to start using the ignore feature, there's enough hate and anger in the real world I certainly don't need it here.
