that's not bragging
Can we NOT have any more discussion of rape, please?
So what about that translates to bragging about raping women?
As wiith most latter day interviews with Clapton, he seems very contrite and ashamed about his scumbag past. I left the documentary about him feeling that he's deeply unhappy with himself.
Every rockstar with any ideology whatsoever has spewed it from the stage. Same for hollywood. They have a soapbox, they stand on it and shout.
I guess I shouldn't say "every" because I have been to concerts where they played music and didn't preach. But I have been to many where I had to sit through it, and honestly, even if I agreed with their sentiments or message, that's not what I paid for when I bought the tix.
I go for the music, I don’t need bantering. Especially if the artist is gonna ram his political views upon me.
What gauge strings do you use!!
But a hater will spin it to their agenda.
The band I’ve seen the most in my life was the Grateful Dead and I saw them in the era where the only thing they ever said was we’ll be back after a short break.
I haven't seen any hate so far in this thread. But then again I've hit the ignore button for 35 people so I may be missing something.
Said it before, will say it again: when we mods delete a post, we often also delete any threads quoting that post, to remove all trace.
The question mark wasn't the problem....
There was a post on this forum about the dead (I can't remember the specifics... who what etc.).
The poster recounted seeing them play a marathon show, where after hours and hours of playing, Jerry came out and said something like... "we have played every song we know"
I thought that was about the coolest thing I've heard about a band.
I'm not even a fan really (they're ok), but I thought that was awesome
Could be. I recall seeing BB King at the Kodak 2008. He was playing seated and telling stories between songs. I thought he was mailing it in until I realized I was getting his story first hand and some very good musical accompaniment. I don’t know if it was his last tour but I’m glad I saw it.
Fair enough. Point taken
Did I make the 35?
More music for your money.
I get into it sometimes with people on here. The truth is tho, I don't keep track of who I squabble with.
I may spit hate at someone today, and congratulate them on a NGD tomorrow.
Very rarely do I remember an argument/disappointment to the point of keeping tabs.
So far there is only one person on the forum, that I would give no quarter.
Everyone else gets a clean slate with me daily.
Edit: disagreement, not disappointment. Stupid auto fill
And this thread is evidence why I’m glad I’ve been staying away from this place.
I don't see you around very much lately. Hope things are going ok for you.
I have no one blocked.
