Can you please use this post to list any gear you will bring to the jam? Including electric guitars & amps, but also other instruments (bass guitars, acoustic guitars, harmonicas, keyboards, congas, banjos, etc...)

I will then compile a spreadsheet with all the information.

    Thanks!

I'll definitely be bringing my LP Standard which anyone else is welcome to play. I can bring something else if needed. Not 100% sure about the Mesa Boogie Studio 22+ yet. 90% chance depending on parking arrangements at the hotel and the studio.

I can also bring my MacBook Air for streaming or reference purposes if required

Bringing your Macbook is a great idea, indeed we need to look into streaming options

I will bring 3 electric guitars, a bass, and, if needed, I could bring a guitar amp and bass amp but not sure they're needed or powerful enough.
The studio supplies 1 bass amp and 2 guitar amps.
How many guitarist are likely to be playing at any given time?

Perhaps it would be a good idea to recall the last Roguestock for ideas about how many players, amount of songs per hour etc.?

The missus will bring her bass and a Rumble150.
For the small and not so hi-tech recording stuff ;), I will bring a Sony PCM M10.

I still have to decide if /which guitar and/or amp.

I will volunteer to donate 8 brand new (unused) Kazoos towards your valiant cause.

All I need is for someone to provide a shipping address. You can private message me if you wish (I'll be shipping these from the USA if that makes any difference)...

And good luck on your venture!

oh, and the guy at the studio did tell me we could bring our own amps... and there is an unloading space - not sure if we can then leave cars there (it's not very big) or if we'd have to then go park them elsewhere. Another reason to get a hotel with parking...

I was intending just to bring my Strat. The only amp I have these days is a little Vox Valvetronix combo. If S5tuart can find room for it, it can come along too. Fed into the main desk, it'll sound fine. Hope that helps. :thumb:

So, just to clarify, the goal of this "gear" thread is to make sure that:

    - we have all the gear we need, with some back up as well
    - we do not have too much gear, because it can just get in the way
    - people flying in don't actually need to bring any gear. It's tricky and actually very expensive to bring guitars (at least on some airlines it's hell) - therefore it would be great to have some extra guitars for our overseas friends. This being said, as we won't all be playing at the same time all the time, this should not be a problem.

I'm pretty sure my SG will be finished by June  , so happy to bring that too if it helps. Or the Aerodyne Strat?

I will bring a guitar of some sort (maybe a semi-hollow to give some different sounds) and a POD which can go direct to the desk.

My list has changed as I have now decided to travel by train.

So, I'm only bringing a Les Paul Standard, which anyone else is welcome to play. I won't be bringing my little Studio 22+ either :(
Hopefully the rehearsal place will have a couple more amps laying around that we can use... :whistling:
