The price is much too high but it isn't destroyed. Slap a pickguard on and no one will know. Just like that you have a perfectly good body. The price should match what's been done to it though.

Right, and I can't imagine asking anyone for money for it. It's one of those things you hand to a friend and say "If you want to do something with it, it's yours."

    Dig deeper Holmes! :p

Seriously though, that's more trashed than even I would consider...even if it were free!

putting it back to looking original is really easy - all you need is a router, a few dowels a block of Alder (or even any wood) some sandpaper and a few rattle cans.

At that price, it's a non starter but as it's Reverb some mug will inevitably buy it :D

It does look like a really nice candy finish and that horrible route attempt wouldn’t be noticed. It would probably lighten the body a lot. I paid $150CAD for the 82 Fullerton 57 because of the humbucker route. Looks great now, well I think it does. It’s just gotta be priced right. There's more holes than wood in the one posted by the OP. Must be a pun in there but that's off topic. $20 tops.

I look at MIJs like a Dollar Store butane lighter. As long as they work, great. But they ain't worth taking apart...

Yeah, "lightweight relic" should be in the header. They are missing out on marketing opportunities.
