Wow, I count 17 guitars in that picture. I used to have a big collection like that, but they got sold to pay for wife’s and my surgeries. Talk about GAS:D I will get there again lol.

I’ve never tried to take a picture of all of them together. Might have to try now. When daylight comes tomorrow morning!

I only liked this to acknowledge it. I hate to see someone have to give up a hobby he is passionate about for something like that. I have been very blessed in my life in that even though I have been through 13 surgeries throughout my life, I have never had to sell anything off to cover any medical expenses. All I will say about it is there really needs to be a reform of some kind.

Yeah my wife and I have health insurance now. She didn't have health insurance for two year's, and had three surgeries in that time. She had arthritis really bad and had one hip, and both knees replaced. Surgeon screwed up one of her knees. Refused to correct his mistake. So after all of that, I decided not to pay him for that last surgery. He sued us for the money, but wasn't able to collect a dime from us. She will have to have that knee redone at some point. He can't even Bill her insurance because she didn't have any when the operation was done. Looked into suing the Dr., but he left the country. So that's a dead end. How many did you say you had done on your knee?

Got any drummers or bass players in there? Seriously, we need one of each for Seattle Stock.

I've had a total of seven surgeries on my right knee. The 6th was a total knee replacement and the 7th was the total knee revision. I was only 45 for exactly 1 week when the revision was done. The first knee only lasted 2 years before I could get the surgeon to admit there was a problem with it even though I told him that something was wrong from three months after the 6th but he wouldn't listen. Problem is the way work comp laws are written in Missouri required me to stay with him until he he was willing to do the surgery again. This time that doctor wanted to only do a 1/2 revision...I got a second opinion and the doctor that ended up doing the revision said that a half wouldnt have fixed it because not only was it loose because the tibial plate didn't properly bond to the bone but it was the wrong knee for the application. There was no way the doctor that did the replacement was ever going to touch me again...screwed my leg up and then wouldn't listen. I had to live in extreme pain every day for 2 1/2 years because of a bunch of bureaucratic BS and an arrogant doctor.

Wow, I am sorry that happened to you. My wife's knee has the parts aligned wrong. So it's going to wear out faster, and it causes her pain. It doesn't work right. She walks with a cane and sometimes a walker. It's hard to believe what bad physicians/surgeons can get away with.

Some of the collections on here are stupendous!

Mine is a bit more modest with only four electrics, two Fender Strats and two Gibsons.

My collection pales in comparison to some that have been displayed here! It’s more about me being lazy than it is about finding space! Ha!
