Someone who was very prominent in the Jacobite Rebellion in the UK. He was marched to the seaside, told to get out, ended up in Denmark and took the last name of Jensen as a condition of marriage.

He was the last scoundrel of the family, Jensen men after that were and are known to be prudent, rational and law abiding and eschew adventure.

    True story!

I've heard it said that, on balance, everyone in the human race is related to each other at most 14 times removed. Not sure if it's true though or how you'd go about checking it.

Ever heard of The Furry Freak Brothers?

The Gilberts had a farm just outside of Hartford, Windsor I believe. Hartford is allegedly where the trial occurred. Speculation is the town bluebloods wanted to steal their land and trumped up the charges to make it happen. It worked apparently. Some things never change.

Sorry, I was confused, I thought Lydia was a place, not a person.

The family naming the girls Lydia, was done in honour of your relative. Nice.

    Cheers.

What did you call me? Crumb?lol

That guy had a few teeth missing in the old gear box.;) A very typical malady in those days. I have NO idea why.:D

    And how about Odd Bodkins?

"Hear the Sound of My Feet Walking
Drown the Sound Of My Voice Talking"

I love that book. "FIRE THE CANNON!"

I gave my original pressing copy of it to a friend because he liked it so much and was so thrilled just to get to not only read it, but just hold it in his hands. I couldn't NOT give it to him. And I know it's in a treasured place still.

Well, I'm a distant cousin on my moms side of Eva Braun. Never have known how to feel about that really.
On my dads side, related to a few athletes and a couple actors/actresses.
