    Ian Paice
    Martin Chambers
    Mick Fleetwood
    Frank Beard (his work on "Just Got Paid" stands as one of the best drum parts ever in the history of the universe)
    Keith Moon
    Ginger Baker
    Charlie "Metronome" Watts

    I saw Jack White on Austin City Limits recently, and the drummer he had was completely off the chain. Don't know his name.

    It took the last post to finally name the real owners of the title.

    Rich and Krupa wrote the book, paved the way for all the other names mentioned, and still remain the best there ever was.

    All the rest are playing catch up.;)
