I'll probably always be most partial to Dick Dale's Chartreuse Sparkle and Jimi's white on white Woodstock Strat.

I still like the EC Crash 1 and still hope that my own replica will be back from the Luthier some year soon!

The first Strat I fell in love with was Uli Jon Roths white one. Seen on the Sails of Charon video and the cover of In Trance. I loved that guitar!

Clapton's Brownie and Blackie--in that order.
    Gilmour's Black Strat
    Knopfler's Red Strat
Jimi's Olympic White Woodstock Strat; Black Beauty

The most iconic non-strat guitars? Trigger, Lucille.

If you didn't point it out, I would've thought it said Fender.

I remember reading recently that SRV vehemently denied any affiliation with Tokais! lol

Some love for the Duck, because of the old time Donald on the headstock.

Well I've actually got one of the original Texas Flood posters somewhere, and that was definitely a Tokai Springy Sound he was playing. On the album cover the decal was rubbed out. Those old Tokai guitars were damn good, and lots of players were using them. It was these Strats that kicked Fender's butt, and forced them to get their act together..

The best laugh of all though, is Fender were using them too (Tokai) for the launch of their 1982 reissues. George Gruhn the famous vintage guitar guru spotted them in the advertising blurb photo's.. ha ha.. :D

The first time I saw a guitar that I can Remember was around 95-96... my father was flipping the TV channels when we ended up in the middle of Comfortably numb from the PULSE tour and I couldn’t get over what I was earring. I asked my father what is that!? He said that’s Pink Floyd son. for years I thought a guitar was called a Pink Floyd Hahahah.

    That was the red strat

A red Strat is the most iconic to me for Knopfler et al ... just so long as it isn’t tomato soup red.
