Polar White for me....Still trying to figure out why they don't offer more and more color choices and the ability to get any color with any board...

I just looked up Soylent Green Strat there...

Not a huge fan of green geetars in general to be honest...

    I agree.

That can be done, sort of, but it costs a fortune.

I think it’s only because of Jimi Hendrix that white Strats are still a thing!

The ed isn't fiesta, although it does look like a brighter hue of FR, in fact it's called sonic red.

Why no love for Arctic White?
Leaning towards White with mint pick guard but Tidepool (tied for #2 in the poll) looks very nice too.

I really like the Tidepool, especially since seeing it in person.

I love a white Strat, but I prefer creamy, aged off white and not stark white.

I used to have an MIM Tele and an MIM P bass in sage green. I like that color too, but I could see getting tired of it over time.

White, black and burst are so common and always have been. One cool thing about the Player Series is it has a couple of less-often seen colors.

For me, the two of these I'd have trouble deciding between would be Tidepool and Buttercream. They are really the only choices I'd consider.

This is just me, but as much as I LOVE most Fender colors, and maybe particularly the metallics, I have found that when I own a guitar or bass in, say CAR or LPB, I kind of grow tired of it over time.

As boring as it sounds, the instruments I tend to keep the longest are just plain, basic classics--white/off white, black, natural and burst.

Just because of my history with that, I'd probably go with Buttercream. My Fake-caster (see avatar) is that color and I don't think I could ever get tired of it.

Heck, I think if it was me I'd try to find a shop that had both in stock (Tidepool and Buttercream) and really check out both visually, then pick whichever one had the edge of playing or feeling better.

    Or I'd flip a coin.

Or I'd don a blindfold and go by ear.

    Or commit hara-kiri.
