I’ve never seen Fawlty Towers.

Comedy has evolved a lot since then. Writers, comedians and audiences are savvier.

Bluey is the best show on tv right now.

I haven’t seen it in years so it’s tough to say how it’ll hold up.

I was however watching MEtv channel earlier in the week and All in the Family was on. We caught an episode and it was Archie and Meathead in a political argument. It could have been from last week vs 50 years ago.

Some shows hold up better than others though. Three’s Company probably didn’t age as well.

Speaking of funny Brits, has anybody watched the first season of “Cunk on Earth”?

If I was still teaching anthropology, I would definitely have my students watch Ms. Morgan's brilliant mockumentary series.

My point exactly, though as usual you missed it. Arthur Lowe was Captain Mainwaring, anybody else is just playing trying to play Arthur Lowe.
