Fender American Ultra?

    Four hours into playing it , my wife loves the tone, that sez slot to me. It complement's my EC artist Blackie.

    Nice! I own an Elite Tele...but I swapped out the N4s for CS Twisted Tele pickups and removed the S1 switch. It's just a regular old Tele now...and I love it.

    I have an Ultra in Texas Tea, really nice all around, but I don't like the pickups at all. I tried for a while to give them a fair chance. I have installed Bootstrap Golden ales in it, and now I love it. I haven't played a noiseless Strat pickup I liked as of yet.

    Yep, Fender recycled the name for a different model, but it's now the "American Ultra"; the first models came out in November 2019; there are some new additions to the American Ultra series for 2021.
