I know channel 2 of the fender champion 100 is digital modeling. Anybody know what the story is with channel 1, the clean channel? Is it solid state, or is it also digital modeling?

Solid state, with digital effects. I don't believe the amp models affect that channel.

I don't know I've wondered, but have never found a complete schematic for a 100, just one or two schematics for subsections.

On other models like the SCXD and SCX2, Channel 1 isn't a discrete "channel" with its own preamp, it's just another DSP voice. There's only one preamp.
