Has anyone played one of these? I admit I am intrigued by the concept.

Cool guitar. Really like to try that neck out. Neal Schon had a sustainer in his signature LP.

I’ve been interested in something like this for a long time. The Sustainer is a very cool concept.
EDIT: And that’s just classy-looking, great-sounding Strat. Sweetwater is listing it for $1099 which seems totally reasonable for a dog model having those features, but they’re not shipping yet.

This has been on my radar since it was introduced. I’d like to try one out. I don’t NEED it, but I think I’d enjoy it.

My son is drooling over this one. He's a serious Radioheadhead.

I haven't played that but I have an early 90s Japanese Fernandes Retrorocket (very Strat-like) with the Sustainer system and dig it. I can throw on some combo of effects and noodle for hours.

I was surprised the Edge signature didn't have the Sustainer, as he's used versions of it since the mid-80s and debuted a Custom Shop Strat with it not long after he joined the Fender board.

I am very impatiently waiting for mine to be shipped. I haven't been so excited about something in so long. I do like Radiohead, but just the specs on this thing are really great. Really fitting for what I do. Hurry up and ship!

When you get it please do post your impressions, and remember: pictures or it didn't happen.

Right on man, I’m jealous! Definitely let us know what you think, I was pondering another build but I may sell those parts to get this if it’s as good as I’m hoping it is.

The sustainer is really appealing, but they got me at boat neck.

A stock Fender guitar that can be used to make cool, different sounds. I'm so happy this exists!

That thing looks awesome. I think Kirk Hammett played a Fernandes with a sustainer. That neck shape is awesome, too.

    That second video was mesmerizing.

Guitar arrived today. Really this thing is all I've wanted in a guitar. lots of great tone options, the sustainer is really great, easy to get used to. I will gig with it couple times next week but for now just playing through a little vox.
I maybe foolishly tried to float the bridge, I usually don't try that kind of setup or anything myself as I have 2 amazing guitar techs in my building so I'm sure they may have to fix what I did but geez this thing is great. The neck feels sooo good.

I'm as jealous as hell! That's the first guitar I've seen in years that I really would buy at the drop of a hat. Congrats!!!

I tried one out at my local shop and didn't like it due to the 10/56 "V" Back-Shape neck. My preferred neck is Modern "Deep C".

It makes such a huge difference, but to each his own.

Yeah I think Long and McQuade had one in the west coast and it was on hold/sold before they even got it in.

I think i remember reading that.. but then again sometimes I dream of strange stuff and I happen to think it actually happened. so who knows.
