tried researching, but couldnt find a definitive answe.

do i have my fender highway 1 pickups arranged in the correct order (top being neck, bottom being bridge)? they’re going into a project strat made from a spare body and neck.

what difference does the placement of the single coils make?

    thanks in advance.

Probably not much if any difference at all.

the easiest way to tell, is the one with the longest wires was in the neck position.

I believe most would put the stronger of the two toward the bridge.

    Thanks for the input.

Just curious, would there be a way to determine which single coil is stronger—visually (or at least without fully installing them)?
