Two new string trees added, new nut and all the plastic parts.
From the serial number and looking at the distance between the 12th fret dots, should be AVRI made somewhere around the 90's.

That website is trash, forget about it. That guitar is a partscaster at best and a fake at the worst- we would need more pics to say more. The fact that the neck plate serial number is for a AV/ AVRI model should be enough to make you suspicious….

The first line says just japan fugi-jen 1996/1997. Not AV or AVRI?

Yeah, but the serial number on the Neck plate makes it impossible for this to be Japanese, and that website you’re using is trash. The only Japanese fender or Squier models that came with serial on the neck plate were some with an E serial. This is not one of these! It’s made up from many different parts and likely not all of them are fender…

I do. But the first line has nothing to do with the av/avri on the second line? The first says japan fugijen 1996/1997. No av or avri
You need to understand the following: The serial number on that guitar is on the neck plate, and it starts with a V. That means it is the serial number of a AV or AVRI, so an American made instrument, not a Japanese one- are you following? Nothing to do with that guitarist nl site…

I can find like 5 or 6 different sites who say v+6 digits can be made in japan 1996/1997. So they are all wrong ?

You gotta be joking now. I have explained you again and again that’s it’s not the serial number itself but the position that’s the problem here.

Fender Japan= Serial at the neck heel/ front of the headstock or since 2018 on the back of the headstock, can start with a V, but NOT on the neck plate!!!

Fender USA (AVRI or AV)= Serial on the neck plate, starts with a V.

Nope. But it seems that Japanese guitars from 1997 and later on have serial number on the backplate like this one
Oh, i hadn’t seen this reply of yours- that’s why you think this may be legit. It’s not . Where did you read this? That’s not true, both Made in Japan and Crafted in Japan guitars came with the serial at the neck heel or at the headstock, but very very very rarely on the neck plate. So this is why you’re confused :)
