    Hi,

Thinking about buying a used Fender Mustang Floor Multi FX Pedal.

I only play at home using headphones so don't need an amp with speakers.
Any feedback and comments would be really appreciated, and can it be used
    with Fender FUSE software?

    Thanks

I had one and for some reason (user mistakes?) it didn't sound as good (to me) as my Mustang III. I even tried it with the same presets as in my MIII. Never did figure out why it sounded different than the MIII.

As long as you get it for a great price there shouldn't be much risk it trying it. You might really like it.

It will work with Fuse. How long Fuse will still work is anyone's guess. It's no longer a supported product from what I understand.

Fender Fuse needs MS Silverlight which would be akin to loading malware on a computer. :thumbd:

The good news is that the Floor has a decent LCD display for accessing all of the deep functions.

If the OP can get the Floor for $50 or less it might be worth a try. I wouldn't pay more than that for an essentially obsolete piece of gear.

Check out the Fender product support forum (not "supported" by Fender employees, just owners).
There are a ton of threads with issues about the Mustang and other modeling amps and poor support to outright not working.
Personally, I'd go with Line6... and for bedroom headphone practice, maybe even just a Pocket POD.
The POD has a frustrating interface, but plugged into a PC it's easier to work with.
