    Hi Everyone

What do you think of the Fender Strat Diamond Dealer Edition 1994 guitar?

I like the look and finish including the inlay on the fretboard. However, is it really worth the £6,000 to £8,000 asking price I am seeing on Reverb and EBay? I guess the guitars value is what someone will pay for it but I don’t see too many of these guitars that are advertised being sold.

What influences the price? The number made in a given year? Or are some guitars like wine - some are vintage years others are not?

I’d be interested to know. Thanks

    Hi,
    Welcome !

Some of those model of Strat were made only for a year or fewer numbers etc/harder to find.

    I don't have 8, 000 so can't buy one though.

I don't know. At that price, it had better actually be a 2-piece, because it looks like one.
Other than that, that bridge and pickguard may have an above average gold content like "the strat" did.

a lot of things contribute to it.
But I am more into "player" guitars. Not really a collector.

6-8000 is very optimistic of the seller.

To me, it looks tacky and expensive.

I don't ever want to take a guitar out that I would be afraid to block a beer bottle with!
