Picked this up, comes with Lindy Fralin Blues Special Set, Graphite nut and saddles. Also a Lace Acto Tone ? Recommendations?

Congrat! It's a really good guitar for the price.I've had one some years ago and i've really liked it. The tuners and the trem block are the weakness in these guitars, every others are good!:thumb:

Incredible deal, the pup's are worth more than I paid for the whole guitar. I was very lucky.

Thanks, I'll have to upgrade them. Is there a drop in replacement for the tuners?

Nice guitar! Congrats! I had a Fender Squier Series. I replaced the tuners and the bridge/tremolo. It had a fantastic neck!

Not sure, it's a light guitar. Sounds good.

If it's the original body it's ply. I have a '92. I switched out the trem block with a GFS solid steel, USA sized as this guitar has USA spacing. Also, I intended to put vintage style tuners on mine but was warned by others who had tried that there was a problem with overhang on the low E tuner. I declined to go with vintage style and went with Gotoh style instead. These were made by Cort for Fender and only available in the overseas market.

I think the vintage Klusons will fit that. I have a MIK squier tele and was able to use them on that when one broke. FWIW I think mine is an 89 (I don't have it here) and the tuner just broke a couple of years ago. The tuners on the MIKS didn't seem to be as bad as newer trapezoid tuners.

Ok thank you, my tuners definitely need an upgrade.
