    Hey everyone, I need a a set of Fender Tex Mex pickups. I just missed a great deal last week here on the forum. My budget is $50. Thanks!

    that sale fell thru. I now have them advertised with pickguard but for more $$$. $50 would have been giving them away.

    Those single coils don't look the Tex Mex pickups I own or have seen, I wonder if the design have changed? The Tex Mex pickups I've seen and own don't have those magnet bars on the bottom.

    Yup, not Tex Mex, not worth much. Would be a nice upgrade for a Squier.

    yes those look like a standard ceramic set.

    I'm still looking for a tex mex set if anyone has any!

    If u r still looking, I'm selling a set. Tho i think i used the screws and rubber so i'm not sure i can ship them with that. But i can check and see if i can find them because I may have thrown them in the parts bin. Anyways, i'd do $50 shopped and PP'd.

    Nothing odd about it, those are stock twin bar ceramic pups that came in the Fender Mexican standard models. They are not Tex Mex which are Alnico magnets, shown bellow.
